DozoDeal uses a small number of browser storage items, all of which are needed to run the site or to remember a choice you made:
- Session cookie — keeps you signed in to the admin and protects forms from cross-site abuse. Expires when you close the browser or after 8 hours.
- Theme and alert preferences — stored in localStorage so the site remembers light/dark mode and whether you dismissed the alerts bar.
- Push subscription — if you enable alerts, your browser holds an anonymous push endpoint. We never see your identity.
We do not set advertising cookies ourselves. If ads or analytics are enabled, the provider (Google) may set its own cookies as described in its policy. Outbound store links may carry an affiliate tag; the store’s own cookies apply there.
You can clear everything from your browser settings at any time.
